Section 1. Eligibility
Membership into the Bay Area Road Warriors Track Club will be open to: A. All youth ( Male & Female) ages seven through eighteen (7-18). B. All parents and guardians of the youths of this organization. C. With the Coaches approval, parents and or non-parent, (guardian), appointed as assistant coaches trainers or helpers. D. Any person adult or youth desiring to donate his/her time and efforts in helping this organization reach it's goals, with the Coaches approval and a majority vote from the Officers of the Board of Directors. E. Individuals, private business, organizations, and corporate sponsors upon approval of the Officers of the Board of Directors. A three-fourths (3/4) vote is required for approval. |
Section 2. Membership
Membership shall consist of two types: Active and Honorary
A. Lifetime membership belongs to the founder and the organizers of this organization and is offered only by board approval to other members of the organization. A three-fourths (3/4) Vote is required for approval.
B. Active membership requires that the member is current with payment of dues and/or fees, according to a predetermined amount approved by the Officers of the Board of Directors. The board may approve a payment schedule of dues and/or fees, without the member(s) active membership status being jeopardized.

A. Registration fees shall be determined from year to year. The amount is to be determined by the Officers of the Board of Directors, at the first (1st) meeting in October.
B. Registration fees shall be paid to the treasurer or President on the first Saturday in February for early registration. Thereafter, registration fees must be paid before the athlete practices six(6) days, or completes in their first (1st) competition.

A. Membership may be terminated by a member at any time, by written or verbal resignation to any member of the Officers of the Board of Directors, or the Head Coaches.
B. Any member may have his/her membership terminated by a majority vote of the membership, and approval by the Officers of the Board of Directors at any time it is considered in the best interest of this organization.
C. A member may be dropped from the team roaster at any time he/she fails to participate in the minimum number of practices, or events, or by having too many excused absences.
D. All termination's will be presented by the Secretary if present, the President, or vice-President at the next monthly membership meeting.

ARTICLE XI
Section 1. Athletes
A. Athletes must have a passing grade in school in order to practice, or compete while school is in session. B. Athletes will have weekly meetings with coaches to express their feelings and ideas. C. Vulgar language, verbal abuse, or threats to any coach, athlete, or member will not be tolerated. The offending individual will be given two (2) warnings, and the third (3) time, the offender will be dismissed from the team. Dismissal will require the unanimous vote of the head Coaches. D. No fights will be tolerated. Disciplinary action will be taken, up to and including dismissal from the team for the aggressor. E. If athletes have a disagreement with each other, and it cannot be settled among themselves, then their events Coach will settle the matter. F. A doctor's note will be required if an athlete is injured or ill before he/she will he allowed to continue practice or compete in meets. It must be signed try a parent or guardian. G. An injured or hurt athlete that knowingly risks further injury to himself/herself by practicing or competing, if found out, will be suspended from the team for a time determined by the coaching staff and Head Coach. Before the athlete is allowed to return, he/she must present a doctor's release, with a parent or guardians signature. H. Consumption of alcohol is not permitted, and neither are drugs. if caught in the act, or smelling of alcohol, there will be a two (2) week team suspension, and the parents or guardians will be made aware of the situation. I. On out of town trips when the coaching staff, and chaperones assumes responsibility as guardians, there will be a reasonable room curfew. Any athlete caught out of their room without permission of the acting guardians, will not be allowed to participate in the remaining meet events, and an alternate will be used in their place |
